Fishing on Oct 1 was indeed a chilly one.  Air temps were in the low 50's this morning and winds began howling aross the lake.  This fish was caught in the mouth of Bald Ridge Creek on an Umbrella Rig.  Look for schooling fish all over the south end and be ready to cast your favorite top water plug.  Dont forget to stop by the Bait Shack for all your favorite on the water fun.

With surface water temps almost 90, the Stripers have entered into a full summer pattern. We have had days where we had to work hard for them and other days of 10+ fish on a trip. Most of the bite is on leadcore. Depending on the time of day, moon and sunny/overcast you will find the Stripers in 60-100+ feet of water hanging 30-40 down.

The summer bite is on ,with action both trolling and downlining. We caught this nice pair early evening on July 4th. We are also seeing action picking up on both leadcore and umbrella rigs. Call today to book your fishing trip. 770-887-2248

The Bait Shack welcomes Kathy Alig as the deckhand on all the bigger boats.  Her responsibilities include running and maintaining all the bigger boats this season for the Bait Shack.  Kathy has an extensive background in fishing all over the country.  Yeah guys, she can fish too!  This fish was caught today on a freeline in the back of Bald Ridge Creek.
